June 14th: STILL | A Tea Ceremony
Still | A Tea Ceremony | 60 Minutes
In stillness, the leaf speaks.
Guided by Olena Lopatyna
Doors Open 9:00AM | Ceremony Begins 9:30AM
For an intimate setting seating is limited to 8.
The Ceremony
Tea is more than a drink - it is a practice of presence.
Through the quiet wisdom of the leaf, we are invited to slow down, listen, and reconnect with ourselves, nature, and one another. Each bowl becomes a moment of reflection, turning the ordinary into ritual.
Presence
The tea acts as a mirror, gently revealing your inner landscape.
Stillness
Held in silence, the ceremony invites deeper awareness of aroma, warmth, sensation, and thought.
Connection
Through Cha Dao - the Way of Tea - we gather in community, cultivating gratitude, belonging, and a quiet sense of communion.
About the Tea
Served is a rare 1980s Gong Ting shou puerh, crafted from young golden buds grown in the mist-covered mountains of Yunnan.
Translated as “Emperor’s Court,” Gong Ting was traditionally considered among the finest tribute teas offered to the imperial court. Rich, smooth, and deeply grounding, it carries decades of age and character in every bowl.
What to Expect
You’ll be welcomed into a candlelit gathering space designed for calm, presence, and reflection.
The ceremony begins with a brief guided meditation, followed by multiple bowls of tea served over an unrushed hour. Please wear clothing that allows you to sit comfortably throughout the experience.
